Montgomery, AL – Former Governor Don Siegelman has a new attorney for his sentencing. Montgomery attorney Susan James will represent Siegelman during the sentencing phase of the case. A sentencing date has not been set for Siegelman or former HealthSouth C-E-O Richard Scrushy. Siegelman was convicted on seven counts in the federal government corruption case, and Scrushy was convicted on six counts. Two others were acquitted in the case -- former Siegelman chief of staff Paul Hamrick and former state transportation director Mack Roberts.
