Alabama – The polls are open from 7 this morning until 7 tonight in today's primary runoff elections, as Democrats and Republicans vote on their party's final nominations. If you're one of those who vote today, you'll be among the projected 10-15 percent projected to turn out. One reason a low turnout is projected is because Alabama voters aren't accustomed to holding a runoff election in July. The Legislature delayed this year's runoff from late June to mid-July to allow time for Alabama's military members serving in Iraq and Afghanistan to cast absentee ballots. The Attorney General's voter fraud hotline has been activated to field any questions about voting ... that number is ... 800-831-8814.
