AL Gas Prices Rise; Remain Below National Average

By Alabama Public Radio

Alabama – Alabama gas prices are going up but remain below the national average. Today's survey by Triple-A Alabama shows the average price for regular unleaded is nearly 2-dollars, 88 cents a gallon. Midgrade fuel averages three-07 and premium is three-16 a gallon ... that's about 16-cent higher than last month. The survey also shows that Alabama's highest gas prices are in Mobile at two dollars, 91 cents a gallon. The cheapest is in Montgomery, where drivers pay an average of two-86 a gallon.
Nationally, gas prices have hit an all-time high in the last two weeks, rising to just more than 3-dollars a gallon.
