Carnival Agrees to Another Year

By Alabama Public Radio

Mobile, AL – Carnival Cruise Lines will maintain its partnership with the city of Mobile. The company has extended its contract to sail from Mobile for another year. The passenger ship "Holiday" will operate year-round cruises from its homeport at the Alabama Cruise Terminal. Mayor Sam Jones announced the renewal and says it's one of Mobile's most successful ventures. The Holiday departs on Thursdays for four-day cruises to Cozumel. On Mondays and Saturdays it embarks on five-day cruises to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen or Costa Maya. The cruise program launched in October 2004.
