Former DA Back From Retirement

By Alabama Public Radio

Gulf Shores, AL – Former Baldwin County District Attorney David Whetstone has emerged from retirement. He left the D-A's office back in March. Now he's the new city attorney for Gulf Shores. The Gulf Shores city council voted to retain the national law firm of Adams and Reese, which has hired Whetstone. The firm has an office in Mobile and is planning to open another in Foley. State Senator Bradley Byrne is also a partner at the firm.
