Mobile, AL – Congressman Jo Bonner and four other members of the U.S. House are in Iraq. Bonner says he plans to visit Alabama troops and attend briefings about the war. In a written statement, Bonner said it's critical for members of Congress to see firsthand how the mission is progressing. The congressional delegation also will make stops in Kuwait and Jordan. Bonner is expected to return about midweek. It's his second visit to Iraq since 2003.
