It's Hot -- Again

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated, AL – Health experts are telling Alabamians to be careful as an intense heat wave invades the state. Doctors say if you develop headaches, sweat excessively or begin to vomit, you need to seek medical help. Those who have to work outside are being urged to drink lots of fluids and to avoid drinks that contain caffeine. Temperatures are expected to reach mid to upper 90s across much of Alabama Wednesday. Meteorologists say the combination of heat and humidity could make temperatures feel higher than 105 degrees.
