Tuscaloosa, AL – B-F-Goodrich Tire Manufacturing workers in Alabama and northeast Indiana have ratified a three-year contract that freezes wages for current employees but cuts those for future hires. About 35-hundred United Steelworkers of America members in Tuscaloosa, Opelika and an Indiana city approved the contract in voting that began Tuesday and ended Saturday. Workers at two of the three plants had to approve the contract for it to win ratification.
