Honda Plans Another Expansion

By Alabama Public Radio

Lincoln, AL – Honda plans to expand its factory in Lincoln. It would be a 40 million dollar engine plant expansion that would add 20 jobs. The project would add more than 41-thousand square feet to the factory and equipment that would help Honda produce more engine components. Right now, the plant can produce about 300-thousand vehicles and engines a year. Since the factory opened with one assembly line in 2001, Honda has added the engine plant and a second assembly line.
