Lowndes County, AL – The first interpretive center on the Selma-to-Montgomery National Historic Trail opens Saturday. The 54-mile trail retraces the route taken by nearly 25-thousand voting rights marchers in late March of 1965. The interpretive center in Lowndes County near White Hall is one of three centers planned at eduacational and tourist attractions along the Trail. The new center will be dedicated at 10-am Saturday August 26th. It is located at 7001 US Highway-80
