Sheffield, AL – The little shotgun-shaped Muscle Shoals Sound Studio became a legend during the 1970s. It became known for producing some of the most popular soulful sounds of that time. It was at the point of being razed by the city of Sheffield when Noel Webster took it upon himself to buy and renovate the building. He has since opened it as a live recording studio museum. Pat Sanders from our University of North Alabama Bureau wraps up her visit to the studio.
