Mobile, AL – Alabama's doctors recently have joined a nationwide movement to make sure children are ready for school. Specifically, the plan focuses on helping children learn to read. The program is relatively new in Alabama, but there are already signs of success. Alabama Public Radio's Chris Newbold reports.
