Tuscaloosa, AL – The upcoming edition of the journal Environmental Science and Technology features an article on a new fuel system that would help reduce automobile emissions during a vehicle's warm-up. The idea is to cut down on a particular type of air pollution closely associated with automobiles. Alabama Public Radio's Butler Cain visited one of the lead authors of the paper to learn exactly how the experimental system works.
