Tuscaloosa, AL – In recent years, Alabama has seen the beginning of a major in the way its natural resources are managed. Part of that shift was sparked by the Alabama Environmental Management Commission. The commission's vice chairman, Pat Byington, is now in his final week of service. He spoke with Alabama Public Radio's Brett Tannehill.
OUTRO: Pat Byington has one week left on his term on the Alabama Environmental Management Commission. He'll be replaced by Auburn veterinarian Laurel Gardner. You can read Byington's environmental newletter and blog online right here.
