Mobile, AL – The Baldwin County Health Department on Tuesday cleared the way for swimmers to return to the waters of Mobile Bay. Health Department officials announced the lifting of public swimming advisories for the Fairhope Public Beach in Fairhope and May Day Park in Daphne. The advisories were issued on Friday for May Day Park and on Saturday for the Fairhope Public Beach. Water samples taken Monday indicate that enterococci levels at the sites has once again fallen below the E-P-A threshold of 104 colonies per 100 milliliters.
