Alabama Marks Record Unemployment Rate

Montgomery, AL – Alabama's unemployment rate dropped to a record low of three-point-two percent in October, signaling that the state's economy is getting stronger. The October rate eclipsed the previous record of three-point-three percent, which was recorded in March and September of this year. Gov. Bob Riley says the state's economic continues to move ahead. He says Alabama's economic growth is historic and brings thousands of new jobs.
