Detroit, MI – Mercedes-Benz, Honda and Hyundai are displaying their Alabama-built vehicles at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week. Mercedes is showcasing its G-L 420 Bluetec sports utility vehicle that is manufactured in Vance. Honda is featuring its Odyssey minivan and Pilot sports utility vehicle from its assembly plant in Lincoln. Hyundai's Santa Fe S-U-V and its Sonata sedan also are on display in Detroit. The vehicles are built in Montgomery. Two General Motors models -- the Saturn Aura and Chevrolet Silverado -- were chosen as the 2007 car and truck of the year.
