Lawsuit Filed in Huntsville Bus Crash

By Associated Press

Huntsville, AL – A lawsuit was filed Monday in Madison County Court on behalf of the son of one of the four Lee High School students killed in a school bus crash in Huntsville in November. The suit, filed on behalf of Nicole Ford's son, names Laidlaw, the company that operates Huntsville's school buses; Tyrone Anthony Scott, the bus driver; and the driver of the Toyota Celica also involved in the accident. Ford's family is not seeking a specific amount of money, instead leaving it up to a jury to determine appropriate damages.
