Washington, D.C. – The Mobile Republican is the first member of the state's delegation to serve on a Congressional ethics panel in almost ten years.
Bonner, in a statement yesterday, said he was ``humbled'' by the appointment. He was one four Republicans named to the committee this week.
The ethics panel is responsible for enforcing compliance with U-S House ethics rules.
Bonner also serves on three other House committees, including budget and agriculture.
