Undated, AL – Gasoline prices rose for the third week in a row to an average of about 2 dollars, 27 cents a gallon nationwide. That's a nine cent increase from last month.
In Alabama the average statewide price for regular unleaded is almost two-16 a gallon that's about seven cent more than a month ago. Triple-A Alabama reports midgrade fuels are two-30 and premium is two-37 a gallon.
Analysts blame higher prices for crude oil for the spike in retail gas prices.
