Auburn, AL – A new automotive supplier is coming to Auburn.
The city's economic development director, Phillip Dunlap, says a sophisticated machining operation has decided to locate in the east Alabama city. He says it will bring about 170 new jobs to the area.
In all, the project represents a capital investment of about 33 (m) million dollars.
Governor Riley plans a news conference later today in Montgomery to release details on the industry.
Thirteen automotive suppliers already are located in Auburn.
