Birmingham, AL – Vice President Dick Cheney will visit Birmingham on Monday for a one-thousand-dollar per-person fundraising luncheon for Republican U-S Senator Jeff Sessions.
Sessions is seeking a third term in 2008. Cheney will speak at the invitation-only fundraiser at The Club. Organizers said they expect 200 to 300 people to attend.
Cheney was in Dothan last July to speak at a private fundraiser for G-O-P Governor Bob Riley.
When Sessions was running for his second term in 2001, President Bush appeared in Birmingham on his behalf.
