Undated, AL – Alabama has become a regular campaign stop for Presidential candidates.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani visits Tuscaloosa and Birmingham Wednesday and New York Senator Hillary Clinton will make a stop in Daphne on May 19th.
Giuliani will speak at a breakfast hosted by the Tuscaloosa County Republican Party at the Bryant Conference Center.
Later in the day, he'll visit customers at the Fish Market Restaurant in Birmingham before heading to Mountain Brook for a 12-hundred dollar per-person fundraiser at the home of local couple.
Clinton is planning a luncheon fundraiser at the Daphne home of longtime Democratic party activists Pat and Robert Edington. About 35 people are scheduled to attend the event. The invitation says the recommended contribution is 46-hundred dollars, which is the maximum a person can give to a presidential candidate for the primary and general election cycles.
Senator Clinton was last in Alabama on March 4th for appearances in Montgomery and Selma. Giuliani made stops in Mobile and Montgomery on April 10th.
Alabama's presidential primary is scheduled for February 5th.
