Richardson Preparing to Leave Auburn University

By Associated Press

Auburn, AL – Dr. Ed Richardson is thinking about life away from the Auburn University president's office.

The 68-year-old Richardson officially leaves office July 15th, turning it over to Dr. Jay Gogue.

Richardson expects to ''unwind'' and vacation this summer, including refereeing the family croquet tournament Wednesday. Richardson says he has a writing project planned that make two years.

Richardson and his wife Nell will move back to their Montgomery home July 10th, but have plans to build in Auburn.
