Tuscaloosa AL – Tuscaloosa Area planning officials are seeking public comment on the latest version of their non-motorized transportation plan. That plan could determine which parts of the county get new sidewalks, safety improvements and even bicycle paths. Bill Herz is chairman of the Tuscaloosa Area Metropolitan Planning Organization's Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee. He says public input on the new transportation plan is critical in supporting a safer, healthier mindset of community planning.
