Atmore, AL – The U.S. Supreme Court, in a two-sentence order Thursday afternoon, denied a request for a stay of execution. Now attorneys representing Darrel Grayson's attorneys await a ruling from the Alabama Supreme Court.
Grayson is scheduled to die by lethal injection Thursday at 6 p-m at Holman Prison. He was sentenced to die for the December 1980 killing of an 86-year-old widow in her Montevallo home.
