McCain, Huckabee, Clinton Announce Alabama Appearances

Montgomery – Alabama will be a focal point of presidential politics Saturday with two candidates campaigning in the state and one former president rallying support for his wife.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will bring his Republican campaign to three cities.

Huckabee begins the day in Huntsville at Trinity United Methodist Church Theater at 8:30 a.m.. Then he goes to Open Door Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa at noon and Faulkner University in Montgomery at 3:30 p.m.

Arizona Senator John McCain will hold a rally at 1:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Birmingham. A McCain supporter, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, will beat McCain to the state. He will speak to supporters at the Montgomery Curb Market at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and at Chappy's Deli in Montgomery at 9:30 a.m.

Former President Bill Clinton will speak at a rally for his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Huntsville High School. The rally is being called "Solutions for America."

The former president will also attend a private fundraiser at the home of Tommy and Susan Siniard.
