Governor Meets with Korean Ambassador

Montgomery, AL – Gov. Bob Riley plans to meet with the Korean Ambassador to discuss trade between the country and state.

Ambassador Lee Tae-sik of the Republic of Korea is visiting the Capitol Wednesday morning and is scheduled to meet with Riley then.

According to the governor's office, Korea was Alabama's seventh largest export market for goods in 2006, with exports totaling $486 million.
