Brush Fires May be Work of Arsonists

By Associated Press

Grand Bay, AL – Firefighters believe someone deliberately set a string of brush fires in south Mobile County.

Authorities said all the blazes erupted Sunday in the Grand Bay and Seven Hills area.

Volunteer firefighters had to battle as many as 17 separate fires. At least 15 blazes occurred in Grand Bay and another 2 erupted in Seven Hills.

No one was hurt. Authorities said an abandoned trailer was the only property damaged in the fires.
