Birmingham's Art Scene Thrives

Tuscaloosa, Al – Officials from the Alabama Tourism Department recently accepted three awards from the Travel Industry Association including top honors for its Year of the Alabama Arts campaign. Despite cultural arts funding cuts, one city is continuing to thrive. Reporter Alisa Beckwith-Ayilliath takes a look at Birmingham, of Alabama's cities that seems to be leading the cultural arts pack.
