Montgomery, AL – The Alabama Supreme Court has ruled in Gov. Bob Riley's favor in a lawsuit over his appointment of four trustees to Alabama A&M University.
Two A&M alumni had sued the governor, contending his appointments weren't proper. But the state's top court ruled unanimously Friday that the alumni did not file the suit properly.
The suit contested Riley's appointment of trustees David Slyman Jr., Leroy Richie, Edward May, and the Rev. Clyde McNeil.
