Birmingham, AL – The U.S. Drought Monitor's weekly report shows that Alabama is drought-free.
This week's conditions is an improvement from last week, when about 10 percent of the state was showing minor signs of drought conditions. During this time in 2008, 59 percent of Alabama was showing drought conditions.
