Tuscaloosa, AL – President Obama addresses the nation tonight (06-15-10) from the oval office regarding the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Among those listening to what the President has to say is Tony Kennon. He's mayor of the Alabama coastal town of Orange Beach, and he had dinner with Mr. Obama during his visit to the region this week. Alabama Public Radio's Ryan Vasquez spoke with Kennon about where his community goes from here, and what his encounter with the President was like.
