Northport, AL – Voters in Northport and elsewhere in Tuscaloosa County will be holding separate elections on whether to permit alcohol sales on Sunday.
Voters in the city of Tuscaloosa won't be participating on Tuesday because the city decided to allow the Sunday sales in February.
Northport is holding its own election to decide whether alcohol can be sold on Sundays between noon and 9:30 p.m. County residents outside Northport and the city of Tuscaloosa will have a similar ballot issue.
Election officials say they're concerned about confusion over where people should vote. They say anyone uncertain about where to vote should call the county's Board of Registrars.
