On August 26, 2023 we are hosting an Autism Awareness Fundraiser for JM's Journey in the Rogersville Recreational Park located at 100 Optimist Drive, Rogersville, Alabama. This fundraiser will benefit JM's Journey, a charity in our community that supports a local child with moderate to severe autism. James Michael, aka JM, is a nonverbal 7 year old boy in need of a service animal. Currently a dog is in training for his benefit and will soon be placed in his home. We began raising funds for this dog last year and we hope to surpass our goal this year.

There will be a car show, live music featuring Red Marlow, finalist in season 13 of The Voice, Howell Sledge, son of Percy Sledge and many more bands. Music begins at 8 am and goes until 6 pm. Lightning McQueen and Mater of the movie, Cars, will be on site. A video game truck, multiple inflatables, train rides, food trucks, disney characters and much more for the kids. There will also be arts and craft vendors and a car swap meet at the car show.
