BookStock Spring Book Festival
On Saturday, May 14, 2022, the Literacy Council of West Alabama will host its first BookStock event at Government Plaza, downtown Tuscaloosa. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of reading in our community. This event will focus its activities on the issues that are central to our mission—getting books to those in need, helping those who can’t read, and encouraging children to read at an early age. The event is free!
