The Trade Expo/ Job Fair is an event for anyone that is interested in trades. Companies will be hiring for various positions. There will be a trucking company present, which is looking to hire and train individuals who are interested in CDL opportunities. Furthermore, individuals will have an opportunity to speak with schools, organizations and agencies that offer trade opportunities. Such as: Jefferson state, Lawson state, Alabama Power, Jefferson County Commission and more. Students will also be able to discuss trades such as CDL, cosmetology, CNA, Automotive, Apprenticeships and more. Attendees will have a chance to speak with employers' face to face and potentially interview for open positions. This event will be held at Birmingham`s five points west library.
