Heavy rains are impacting the Gulf Coast of Alabama, and more could be on the way.

Several roads in Fairhope were covered in water on Monday after storms crossed the area.

The National Weather Service says there is a possibility of the coast receiving 2 to 6 inches of rain through Wednesday night.

There is a flash flood watch extended throughout the state.
