A Visit with the Voters of New York City

After the long months of the primary season, two conventions, three presidential debates, one vice presidential debate and countless TV ads, some American voters steadfastly remain undecided.

Much has been heard from them. But what about voters who know what they're going to do when they get to the voting booth?

Two weeks ago, NPR's Liane Hansen visited Broken Bow, Neb., where she heard from a strong majority of people who want to see President Bush remain in office. In search of a different perspective, this past Wednesday, she dropped by the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a dependable Democratic bastion.
