Amazon warehouse workers reject union bid in Alabama

Amazon union Bessemer
Associated Press

Workers at the Amazon warehouse in Bessemer have voted against unionizing.

The final vote was 1,798 against the union and 738 votes for it. The National Labor Relations Board oversaw the voting process.

The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union organized the efforts among workers to unionize and said it would file an objection with the NLRB charging them with illegally interfering with the vote.
