Former APR Student reporter Tina Turner now works as a producer for AT WILL MEDIA based in New York City. During her time in the APR newsroom, Tina produced stories on the trafficking of LGBTQ youth in the Bible Belt, as well as ghost tours in Tuscaloosa, and the refurbishment of the St. James Hotel in Selma.

Mikaela Lefrak is WAMU’s Arts and Culture reporter. Before moving into that role, she worked as WAMU’s news producer for Morning Edition.

Martin Austermuhle is a reporter in WAMU’s newsroom. He covers politics, development, education, social issues, and crime, among other things. Austermuhle joined the WAMU staff in April 2013 as a web producer and reporter. Prior to that, he served as editor-in-chief for DCist.com. He has written for the Washington City Paper, Washington Diplomat and other publications.
