Oliver Gee got his hands on a camcorder in the early 2000s, and he has been in love with audio and video production ever since. He began his professional broadcast production career in 2010, and has worked across the South in television, sports, and higher education. After becoming a Certified Broadcast Technologist through the Society of Broadcast Engineers in 2023, Oliver made the jump from production to engineering at the Center for Public TV & Radio and WVUA 23. When he's not busy maintaining transmitters and production systems, he can be found playing guitar in his home studio/mad scientist workshop, binge-watching Star Trek, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and plotting victory for his fantasy football team.

Braylan Hurst is a student intern at APR from Atlanta, Georgia. He’s majoring in Creative Media and minoring in Business Communications at the Capstone. Braylan is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc., a member and mentor for the Bridge Program, a member of the Black Student Union, and is also in the Capstone Association for Black Journalists. He enjoys spending time with friends, making jokes, and eating Chick-Fil-A.

Grayce Kilkenny is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Digital, Professional and Public Writing. Outside of the newsroom, Grayce enjoys photography, running and fashion.

Gracie Powell is a student intern at Alabama Public Radio. She is from the small city of Thomasville, AL, planning to graduate from The University of Alabama in May 2026. She is studying Public Relations with a minor study in General Business. In her free time, Gracie loves to listen to music, watch TV and spend time with friends and family.

Nate Billings is a student intern at APR from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He’s majoring in creative media, minoring in both Communication Studies and Advertising and Public Relations. Nate loves spending time watching movies with his friends and sports, mainly making sure he’s knowledgeable of just about every sport. His favorite team is the Green Bay Packers and he recently became a partial owner.

Sami LaCount is a student intern for Alabama Public Radio. She is majoring in Creative Media with a minor in Spanish at The University of Alabama. When she's not behind the camera or working on a new project, Sami enjoys reading a good book, listening to new music and spending time with her family.
