  • Logan Fitzpatrick’s is an APR newsroom intern. Her favorite part of being on the team is investigating new stories and turning them into something that becomes interesting to listeners. In the future she would like to be a news anchor and reporter for a large station and possibly have her own show.
  • Samantha Triana is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a senior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Digital Consumer Engagement. Outside of the newsroom, Samantha enjoys walks, cooking, and hanging with friends.
  • Cooper Townsend is a student intern with the Alabama Public Radio newsroom. He is a Senior Majoring in News media and has a Minor in Theater. He produced a feature on a fundraiser for research into Huntington’s Disease featuring the board game Heroclix. He’s currently researching an angle into the economic impact of what’s known as “AI collapse” in Alabama.
  • Toni-Christian Ford is a sophomore at the University of Alabama majoring in News Media with a concentration in Sports Media and minoring in Communication. I’m currently a student intern at Alabama Public Radio, and my goal is to become a sideline reporter and eventually work with ESPN and College GameDay. Outside of school and reporting, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, and staying active.
  • Emily Ahearn is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a junior that is double majoring in News Media and Criminal Justice. Outside of the newsroom, Emily enjoys gymnastics, going to the beach and spending time with friends.
