AKA Sorority Focuses on Children's Literacy

Some 8,000 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., are holding their 61st National Convention in Nashville, Tenn. This year, AKA -- a historically black academic and social organization -- is focusing on children and literacy as its nationwide project. NPR's Tavis Smiley chats with AKA National President Linda White.
