Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery in India will be stopping at the Spiritual Enrichment Center (942 S. Oates Street, Dothan, AL) on their annual US Sacred Arts tour. All proceeds from ticket sales, food and merchandise sales, and donations will go to the monks to support their monastery. They will be creating a sand mandala over the course of three days, presenting a cultural pageant on Tuesday night, selling traditional steamed dumplings and offering a meditation and chanting on Wednesday, and doing a closing ceremony on Thursday, during which the sand mandala will be dismantled.
