The 26th Annual Chef Challenge will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, AL from 6-9 p.m.

Chef Challenge is Feeding the Gulf Coast's award-winning event that brings together some of the area's most talented chefs and restaurants for an evening of delectable food and drink, live entertainment by Roman Street, and a silent auction, all in support of ending hunger along the central Gulf Coast.

THE UPPER ROOM The Upper Room is an outreach of Valley Community Church in Coker, Alabama. Valley Community Church has collected gently used clothing for free distribution to anyone in the community that has a need. No referral needed. Disco Nights is an evening event presented by Enable Madison County on Thursday, April 16, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Stovehouse Event Center in Huntsville. The event includes dinner, music, and a program highlighting Enable Madison County’s Aging in Place services for aging and homebound residents. Proceeds benefit programs that support residents living safely, independently, and with dignity in their homes throughout Madison County.

Join us for the 2026 Birmingham Kidney Walk & Celebration, a high energy community event supporting the Alabama Kidney Foundation and raising awareness for kidney disease across Alabama.
This family friendly morning will be packed with fun — children’s activities, live entertainment, coffee, a DJ, door prizes, local vendors, and more. Registration opens at 8:30 AM, but teams are encouraged to sign up early at www.BirminghamKidneyWalk.org.
The Birmingham Kidney Walk is one of the Foundation’s most impactful fundraising events. Last year, Kidney Walks across the state provided more than $900,000 in direct assistance to Alabama kidney patients, helping with transportation to dialysis, medications, and other essential needs.
