DECATUR, Ala. (AP) — Decatur City Schools is looking to hire 300 substitute employees — a week before the new school year begins.

The school district is looking to fill open positions including substitute teachers, nurses, aides, nutrition workers and custodians.

WAAY-TV reports Kelly Educational Staffing, an employment agency, has been hired to help fill the positions. The company hosted a job fair at the Alabama Career Center on Wednesday and KES says it will continue recruiting throughout the school year.
