Lisa Weiner is a line producer on Morning Edition. For NPR, she's covered the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and traveled to Ukraine to cover the Russian invasion in 2022. Prior to joining NPR, she held positions as an editor at WTOP-FM, as an engineer at Radio Free Asia and recorded audio books for the Library of Congress. Weiner has a master's degree in audio technology from American University. She got her start in radio working the late-night shift as a student DJ in the basement of WRUR-FM at the University of Rochester. Weiner has lived in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Budapest, Hungary.

Toni-Christian Ford is a sophomore at the University of Alabama majoring in News Media with a concentration in Sports Media and minoring in Communication. I’m currently a student intern at Alabama Public Radio, and my goal is to become a sideline reporter and eventually work with ESPN and College GameDay. Outside of school and reporting, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, and staying active.

Emily Ahearn is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a junior that is double majoring in News Media and Criminal Justice. Outside of the newsroom, Emily enjoys gymnastics, going to the beach and spending time with friends.

Mallory Cook is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a senior majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Digital, Public, and Professional Writing. Some of her hobbies outside of the newsroom include reading and playing the viola and the ukulele.

Torin Daniel is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. He is a senior majoring in Creative Media with a minor in Communication Studies. Besides the newsroom, Torin likes to listen to music along with writing songs as well. Torin also enjoys trying new food places, fashion, working out, collecting vinyls and recently starting his CD collection.

Logan Fitzpatrick’s is an APR newsroom intern. Her favorite part of being on the team is investigating new stories and turning them into something that becomes interesting to listeners. In the future she would like to be a news anchor and reporter for a large station and possibly have her own show.

Samantha Triana is a student intern in the Alabama Public Radio Newsroom. She is a senior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Digital Consumer Engagement. Outside of the newsroom, Samantha enjoys walks, cooking, and hanging with friends.
