Former President Donald Trump says that, if he wins a second term, he wants to make IVF treatment free for women, but did not detail how he would fund his plan or precisely how it would work. That prompted a rebuke from Gwen Walz, wife of Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, on the campaign trail. The controversy over IVF can be traced back,in part, to an Alabama Supreme Court ruling back in February that frozen embryos “are children.”

DJ Cassidy stood onstage in what appeared to be a double-breasted satin suit of royal blue, spinning a special song for each state and territory awarding their delegates to Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention. The Biden administration said Thursday that drug price negotiations will knock hundreds of dollars — in some cases thousands — off the list prices of 10 of Medicare's most popular and costliest drugs. The Department of Health and Human Services says just two diabetes drugs, on the list for price cuts, are used by over fifty thousand Alabamians on Medicare.
