Lewis Wallace comes to WYSO from the Pritzker Journalism Fellowship at WBEZ in Chicago, where he reported on the environment, technology, science and economics. Prior to going down the public radio rabbit hole, he was a community organizer and producer for a multimedia project about youth and policing in Chicago. Originally from Ann Arbor, Mich., Lewis spent many years as a freelance writer, anti-oppression trainer, barista and sex educator in Chicago and in Oakland. He holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Northwestern University, and he has expanded his journalism training through the 2013 Metcalf Fellowship for Environmental Journalism and the Institutes for Journalism and Natural Resources.

LaToya Dennis joined WUWM in October 2006 as a reporter / producer. LaToya began her career in public radio as a part-time reporter for WKAR AM/FM in East Lansing, Michigan. She worked as general assignment reporter for WKAR for one and a half years while working toward a master's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University. While at WKAR, she covered General Motors plant closings, city and state government, and education among other critical subjects.

Lawrence is the senior producer of Maryland Morning and the project leader for WYPR’s year-long series about inequality, "The Lines Between Us." Lawrence earned master's degrees from American University's sociology department and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He has contributed to magazines, newspapers, and public radio programs like Columbia Journalism Review, Oxford American, Studio 360, Weekend America (R.I.P.), Marketplace Money, and the Sunday Real Estate section of The New York Times. Lawrence's chapter "New Possibilities and Old Limitations of Political Art in The Wire" appeared in The Art of Social Critique: Painting Mirrors of Social Life, published by Lexington Books in 2011.

Stephanie Hughes is the senior producer for “Maryland Morning,” WYPR's daily news magazine show. She's covered issues including business, housing, and women's rights, and is interested in citizen journalism and crowdsourcing. She’s also contributed to media outlets including NPR’s “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered,” “Marketplace,” “The Takeaway,” and Salon.

Jeremy Loeb is a reporter and former APR host of Morning Edition. He joined the station in December of 2013 and stayed with us until November 2014.

Rose Scott is an award-winning journalist and producer of afternoon news programming ("All Things Considered") on WABE 90.1 FM, the Atlanta National Public Radio affiliate. Scott primarily covers education, minority health, Atlanta historically Black colleges and universities, gender issues and sports.
